Where I'm at we always "dedicate" the internet lines before they go into the CATV splitter to feed the rest of the houses' T.V. outlets.
I.e., first there's the ground block,then a small jumper to a low value D.C. (-6dB) with the internet cable on the tap output, then a jumper to the splitter from the thru leg of the D.C.
I dont see why ya just cant throw a two way after the CATV ground block to isolate the internet cable and then pass the other cable(s) to diplexers, multiswitches etc...
I'm SURE I'll be corrected if wrong.
