I try to think of catv and dishes as two old dogs, say a rotweiler and a collie-you pick- You probably can get them to mate, but you might not like what you get! RULE OF THUMB when I put in high speed internet or digital cable with a existing dish system, I always run a new feed if possible to try to isolate the two dogs. If you must combine make sure you equipment goes down to 5 meg ie 5-2200meg as the internet to the home is in fm's sometimes as signal said, and the internet return is in the 20 meg range. Also even if your equipment is correct, the levels to the modem or back to the headend may be adversely effected and the still internet won't work. Good Luck
