Hey guys, you know what...in canada there is a lot of electrical contractors moving into the voice/data/video wiring, most electricians have no clue what the hell and how the hell to wire up this stuff because they were never trained in it. But there is money in it for big custom homes down to the regular home owner who wants a video network or satellite in his house, there is sometimes more money in it than in electrical. And a lot of subs hire us because they are willing to pay more for not having their house wrapped in cable so they pay for us to fish thru walls attics and whatever else we encounter. So maybe the low voltage wiring field is something to look into instead of just cable. I don't know really how it works in the states but there has to be money in this business somewhere. I know a few ex cable techs who now operate their own low voltage cabling businesses and make better money than they did in-house at the cable co. anyways excuse the grammar, it's been a very long day
