I have been reading all the cable and sat. installers posts over the last year and they ALL SAY THE SAME THING !!! They all are getting paid less and less , but are expected to do more and more. I was a fully equipped splicer until one week ago , and I was looking into getting into either cable installs , or satellite installs . After looking into both of them , I decided that they are now both crap jobs / contracts where guys are getting paid less and less. Any company that expects you to work for free is not worth working for. I packed away my cable tools and just went to work for a delivery company for almost the same money , and I get to stay home every night. Good luck , Jim
