You say you checked the Feedhorn, but did you put a cover over them. Sometimes at night frogs, lizzards and other cold blooded animals crawl up in the feed horn to get warm. This is a common problem and usually happens in the early evening or after the sun goes down. Also, wasp like to nest up in there but if you checked the feedhorn you would have seen the nest.

Please let us know what you find out.
