here, here, my friend bought a computer, and she was told by the salesperson thaty she needed to replace her surge protector every 6 months. I laughed and told her to take it back! one of my biggest problems has been the severe lack of training and knowledge of the salespeople! even our field salespeople from knology didn't know you could use AOL with the cable modem, I lost several jobs that way, after I explained it to the customer, they wanted it, but knology wouldn't let us carry spare modems or cards, that was 30 a pop, and time and time again I had to explain to the sales person what we could and couldn't do, trouble is, the management wouldn't let them go out with the installers to learn, still another brick wall to run into!!!!!!!1
