Texas telemarketer agrees to leave Oklahoma, pay fine

-- Attorney General Drew Edmondson says a Texas telemarketer is agreeing to stop doing business in Oklahoma.
He says Christopher Fischer of Arlington, Texas, will also pay a five-thousand dollar fine.
Fischer and his company, Satellite Solutions, were charged in Kay County with making telemarketing calls to Oklahomans who registered for the "Don't Call'' program.
Edmondson says the calls tied up telephone lines to the Blackwell Police Department, Integris blackwell Regional Hospital. He says the calls also affected 9-1-1 emergency service in communities surrounding Blackwell.
