Re: Installation company contract

Contracts are just agreements between two parties. They are in writing so both parties can list their duties to the other party and expectations from the other party. They are dated so third party judges can know when these mutual expectations began and ended. ................Compose your own list of offerings....ask the other party to list their expectations.........exchange lists and talk again. Whoever writes the contract is expected to loose on issues where there is a lack of understanding. Lawyers examine contracts to discover all the "what ifs" and look for missing items. The best contracts are mutual wins; both sides do ok. ................If you sign a prepared "standard" contract you may find you are doing everything and getting paid only as a last resort. The other party is amazed you signed but happy to grind you into every word of what is called contractual compliance......Good luck,Joe
