Re: safety

I'll Start looking around a little anf verify what I reported .
At that time there were two CATV companies serving the same area. There was so much coax on poles and under sod that inspite CATV requirement to run more new wire with each new install there were tons of abandoned lines. Some even worked. ----I just looked out my door here in Maryland and on one side of the street you have power on top, CATV next and Telco lowest..but as the CATV crosses the street the CATV J hooks are between the Power and the Telco... I'll start looking and get back to you.....I occasionally do a Directv job in that same area....................remember that the point of my post was that if you are a large company and want to stay large and profitable you insulate yourself. You use subs who sub to subs. If something happens.....UG trencher hits UG gas line.......dawg fails to land in one piece from roof.......you are far enough from liability that all you have to do is appear sad. .....Joe
