I would let all know that if retainage is being witheld from any invoice payment all one has to do is take digital pictures of your completed work along with pictures of what it all looked like before you started. Look at your contracts. There has to be a clause in it for retainage payments. Follow up on it and let these Contractors or MSO's know that you will seek legal means to get your retainage paid to you. Follow up on the QC that is supposed to occur when your jobs are completed and let thses people know that you have first right, under the law, to remedy any complaints about your work. It all falls under CYA. It's your money, don't let them have a dime unless they can prove it. Look at your contracts before you sign on and make clear your stance about the QC issues and the procedures for your retainage to be released to you. Y'all have a good day.
