Tools: To do the job
some of these things are provided but when you are tying to make good money (piece) its cool to have your own crimpers, drill, ladder and what-not, you dont have to wait for the other guys. It makes you more valuable to both you and the company you are working for.
Insurance: Your vehicle must be legal to drive to work in the first place, for your sake and the company you are employed by. If you use you personal vehicle to get to a job, and it is not insured, and you get in an accident the company you work for can be liable for the damages as well as the driver and owner of the vehicle. PLUS IT SHOWS YOU HAVE YOUR ACT TOGETHER AND ARE A TRUE PROFESSIONAL!This is not meant as a personal attach, just and ansewer to a question, and FYI....
