i agree with you totally. thats why i left cable and started my own home automation and structured wiring company. i can offer my clients much better customer service on all my work. i get most of my work because of my service. i just have the cable installer run the drop and have him leave the equip and i do it all from there. its getting to the point where people dont even want to deal with the cable company.
