Cable vs. Sat.

For those of us looking for long term work I have noticed one thing: I'm new to the industry (2+ years) But after all the sat. installs are done then what do we do? At least with cable there is always ao's disconnects, reconnects, ect.. I love doing sat. but what do I have to look forward to in the near future? Once you sign up for sat. my job is done. No rebuild, no upgrade, no anything!!! What can I look foward to as an installer in the near future?? Maybe a new line of work?? I really like what I do, But I don't know how to do hard line or MDU's but I would be willing to learn if it keeps me in this industry. Where would I go or what would I have to do to learn these things so I could keep doing what I really like to do??? Is there any training in these feilds or is it all on the job training?? Thats the best kind to me. With the right teachers you learn the right way to get the job done. I really want to stay with this buisness but what can I look forward to and how can I progress in this feild to keep working here??(confused)(bounce)(wiggle)
