Here is a GIF picture that shows the level required by Cablemodem to hit that proper +15.0 dBmV at the return input of NODE and AMP. cbltek1, you recommand + 21.0 dBmV as input at the return amp, you'll see that the first Cablemodem working of the first multitap will work at his maximum output level at around 60 dBmV. This is why, I always recommand + 15.0 dBmV for return signal at the input of AMP and NODE....
