Phone over cable works.... unless there is a chance of lightning ever. I used to work fo Knology in Augusta Ga., that was one of there big claims to fame.. but its a major pain. We had Harris or Arris (cant remember) Voice Ports once they were done right they were pretty solid. Dont know how NEC stuff is up there but we also had to use DropChecks, BEWARE!! And I'm sure you already know about TX levels and stuff like that....
