this is what I train on Gainmaker, the bode network will drive the amplifier based upon ambient temperature of the station. Gain specifications are given @68 F. Cable Attenuation will change 1% for every 10 degree change in temperature.

Checking the tombstone is a good practice to verify design and to verify construction, but keep in mind the design input levels to an amplifier on the tombstone are worst case losses @ 68 degrees F what you actually read on any given day may vary a dB or two.
