Re: Cordless Drill - Need recommendation

I'll tell you what, I paid $159.00 for Ryobi 18v Job Site drill in '99 and that thing is still kicking a$$ doing production splicing day in and day out. Dewalt's 18v at the time was almost $400 and a lot heavier. Too bad Ryobi's 18v they are now selling @ Home Depot are such junk. I broke the reverse switch on my Job Site about year ago so I picked one of the new Ryobi, the first time I used it on 860QR it just about broke in half. Needless to say, it went back to HD and since you really don't need reverse when you're splicing I'll keep using the Job Site. If I have to buy a new drill, I'll suck it up and buy a Dewalt it's made for the Trade Man, Craftsmen drills are made the the homeowner. My 2 cents.
