Re: Contact info.Suppres email Not Name

Admin here is my two cents worth. Agree with Jenifer and others that sponsors of advertisements in most cases should be named. Unlike newspapres the cost for advertisements here at the bar are not by the word. It cost no more to put the name in than to leave it out. I think that a contractor would want to place thier name in the advertisement By placing name in ad,
1.Current employees (sub contracotrs) would be saved the possible embrassment of applying for their own jobs.
2.Current employees could ask up front for a transfer to newly advertised job site Instead of quiting at one site and showing up at the other looking for work and not getting a good reference from the last job that they would otherwise have gotten.
3. Past employees and or sub contractors who have had a bad experince with the contracotr would naturally not apply therefor saving the contractor time and keep his or her blood pressure at
normal levels.
4. Allows the contracotr to promote their company by announcing they have the work in that area and are looking to expand their staff.
A disadvantage with placing Name of Company and email address occurs when you wish to find and hire a replacement before terminating the current job holder. The current job holder could easily find out that their goose is cooked.
