Hate to break the news to you but your friend had to be telling you a story or Wells Fargo is in deep trouble!
Because the D.O.T does not govern any employee/employer relations. The F.M.C. (federal Motor Carrier Regulations) does to a certain degree only. And even then the F.M.C. refers to all "local & State" laws in regards to pay / overtime.
I just received another email from my wifes office regarding this subject and the other thing a company can legally do like the Governments is in oder to pay for overtime? They give comp time.
But ALL OVERTIME has to be paid legally!
