This really doesn't have to do with Mastec, but the topic is the same...Another company that does not pay is MediaCom cable in the Mobile, Alabama area. The rate for installing/replacing an outlet used to be 10 bucks then it was 8.75. Now, they are saying if you are there to install 4 outlets, you can only bill for one outlet. If you replace an existing outlet, you cannot bill for it. So, 4 lines , you bill for one, anything more than 4 is the only time you can bill for additional lines. Also, they are paying only 6.25 for digital converter installs. Meanwhile, the wording on the billing schedule states that if you install it, you bill it. Excuse me for sounding nieve, but what is the point of having a contract with someone if they are breaching it on a weekly basis? Thank you.
