the biggest problem in the sat industry at present time is all the under bidding and hackes that are coming into profession. you see the prices keep falling and the quality of work getting worse and worse. because prices was set where they had to be for the installer to make a living and do the job right in the beginning. now the hackes have come in and they want to try to cut corners an do a bad job. thats not to say that i havent ever used existing cable but it was used in a way where that if the sub changed back to cable that all they needed to do was remove a barrel bolt or two and put the splitter back in line.
