Workers Comp in Florida???

I am considering starting a new project in Florida. According to the company I will be contracting through I must have workers comp insurance, it is required per state law. I am a sole proprietor though, no employeess. They said it doesn't matter, have to have it. Does anyone know anything about workers comp in FL?? I reside in TN.... My insurance agent here said they can write me a policy for 750 year but it won't cover anything. Any help appreciated. Thanks
