What you have is a dc not a splitter. what is happening is the 7.5 is a hight loss side a should go to a short span of cable the3.5 side should be the low loss side and go to a long span . you can get a balanced splitter for up to four cables.if one is fussy after this check to see if by chance you might have a little outside shilding touching the center conductor of your fittings. but last of all check signal at tv ports to see how mutch signal you have at ends of cable. You may need to look into a signal amp to bost the signal for any thing over four outletts.Hope this helps -good luck.
