The reason companies provide a" jig" price, is that todays crews are much more deversified then crews of past. Before crews lashed there own stuff. Billing was turned in when lashed. Companies are smaller now, so you have to be able to do a wide variety of tasks, there on the move,alot of times crews want to pull the third or fourth amp spacing and leave it hang for the morrow, only to be pulled from the area on an emergency, at the same time the cable needs to be lashed. so you compensate with a "jig" price ,
