I'm not sure who is telling you this, but I've been in this business for 26 years and the only time we have every paid on jigging is in-house fiber placement. If a crew can't jig and lash coax in a day, they must not be a very productive one. I have not seen any big dual packages since the late 70s and early 80s that could not be lashed completely in a day.
