Cable-ready said it, Align your reverse plant! verify the correct drive level into the laser I travel to systems all over the country and the first question I ask an operator is what is the laser drivel level at the node? you can get this from the system engineering notebook and yes you do have one. 1. set laser drive level, 2. optomize fiber link, 3. SWEEP return in coaxial plant for unity gain on the retrn. Check your reverse receivers often for noise and ingress. There are a lot of good posts here if you follow them you can troubleshoot easily. About the post where a comp. geek injects white noise in the return tat is a new one on me sounds like a good ass kickin is in order or maybe just a trap. take care
