I've been in this a long time, and happen to agree with a lot of the advice that you've been given. First; as "busdriver" put it, if you've haven't got a lot at stake and are young enough to change careers, I would say now is a great time to do so. I have been stating this fact for the past year and a half, and wish I was young enough to do the same.
As far as the political ball game goes, has anyone ever noticed that republicans get elected in bad times, create a plan for economic growth in the future and at the time the plan comes to fruition, a democrat gets elected?
Economically speaking, we should actually see more spending now. Interest rates are down, cost of labor is cheaper, which means lower prices for equipment, and growth is still steady. Why the MSO's are keeping their pockets shut is beyond me.
Have a great day.
