Ok, I am looking for some averages or some kind of standard on what the output of a modem is (in General) in a cables system. I know that on the Motorola's they have a range I believe of 8dB to 55dB. I have no clue on what other systems output levels are. I know that our CMTS is looking for 0dB hitting it (Cuda 12000) but what is that governed on? Im learning this stuff and need something to steer me in the right direction in our system
