Ranting and raving and caring on is just another aspect of the industry although no-one listens even if we are right. Being in the business 10 yrs now and seen alot"what a mess"makes you wonder huh? Sweep and Balance is only a contracted thing in the begining then inhouse believes they could actually maintain a plant without a credible contracted source. I've worked for GI Corp. and C-COR Electronics and not even those massive corporations could obtain and secure extended contracts in S&B,Cert,P.O.P.,CLI,Ingress ect...to no fault of their own it's just the nature of the beast. In another posting don't remember who said it but those white collar corporate bean counters will soon learn, you get what you pay for. Bandaiding the problem only makes the problem worse later. On the other hand I guess this is what we like to call job security, what ever happened to the good old days?$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
