Damn shame we don't get much training and or info when a new service is launched but then again I suppose the best training has been hands on/trial and error..

Actually what I've discovered over a little more time is yes, the set needs to be set to the proper input format and that the sub needs to "toggle" between the video input selections depending on which format is being viewed. But another simple glaring point is the most problems tend to be one particular manufacturer of said televsions...wont mention any names here.
