I think you're barking up the wrong tree.

There was a similar attemt to organize CATV workers last year on this
site. The majority of responses were negative.

By organizing a union you may hurt your business rather than help it.
Unions are fine if you are being mistreated, or abused by your
employer. It sounds like your main complaint is shrinking profits.
Well my friend that is the market & the industry. We all are
experiencing this.

Your best bet is to give your customers the best possible
service, & your good reputation will be spread by word of mouth etc.
and your business will grow.

I'm not knocking your attempt but I've been in this business since
the late 70's & my experience with unions have been mostly negative.
The corp. office treats you like a red headed step child.
