We used to use 3-coms but not any more.they proved to be unreliable.weve had motorolas, RCA,Sci- Atl. seemed service tech were constantly changing out the 3-coms when they inadverdently just stopped working for no apparent reason,and when switched out to a motorola or webstar worked fine .
In our shop the 3-coms are crap which is why we dont use em any more
