Always. Lots of companies dont as I understand it, and I suppose it would depend a lot upon what you've established as an acceptable amount of drop/house gargbage noise in your 5-50 band. Right now you can buy these filters for less than $6.00 per piece, so in my book, thats pretty cheap insurance.
