Hey cablchik.....if you meet 12 of the 20 requirements from the IRS acid test then you will meet even more from the Employment Security Commission of Indiana (or unemployment section....whatever it is referred to there...lol).
As to the greedy high-dollar lawyers the primes or brokers have, the state of Indiana (as well as all others) will be represented by the Indiana Attorney General and will be financed by every taxpayer in the state. The Employment Commission may even be more helpful because they could force the prime or broker to pay the unemployment insurance premiums on every associate.....and they definitely NEED the money!
