Be happy you found a job period...
I just settled for 20 cents composite for splicing on a job that paid 36 plus lots of extras two years ago
(no this isn't due to the at&t thing-just prices have dropped SERIOUSLY))I sat and waited for a job to break...
and lost my 
doing so. Just hocked my truck so I can go to work for the 30 days before I get a check.Worst thing is-I'm happy about it

I think we have all gotten a little too used to living high on the hog. Hell, two years ago I was making 2500-3500 a 3 day week and was moaning the whole time because I knew we could be making 5000-6000 for working five. Now I am happy to maybe make a thousand.
I say jump on what you can to stay busy-some is better than none. When the good work breaks you will be ready to jump on it too.
