Qualifications
Experience performing residential in-home cable and fiber installations for Charter/Spectrum, including running and connecting drops, setting up customer equipment, and ensuring reliable service connectivity. Comcast/Xfinity or Altice/Optimum experience also considered.
Other Requirements
Must provide own white service truck along with a complete set of installation tools. Willingness to pass a drug test and background check is required.
Job Description
Responsibilities
Perform in-home installation, repair, and maintenance of Charter/Spectrum coax and fiber services.
Install and service drops, taps, and connectors for both coaxial and fiber lines.
Set up and configure customer equipment (modems, routers, ONTs) and verify proper service connectivity.
Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity and signal issues at the customer premise.
Complete installs, upgrades, and disconnects in accordance with Charter work orders and SLA requirements.
Follow all safety standards and properly use required PPE and equipment.
Communicate professionally and courteously with customers during on-site visits.
Accurately document completed work, materials used, and job status per Charter reporting requirements.
Coordinate with dispatch and crew leads to manage daily schedules and job assignments.
