Pay
Competitive production-based pay. Rates are based on experience and skill level. Experienced cable/fiber technicians may qualify for higher rates.
Qualifications
Cable, coax, fiber, telecom, or field installation experience preferred. Experienced technicians are strongly encouraged to apply. Entry-level candidates with a strong work ethic may be considered and trained. Must be dependable, safety-focused, and able to work independently in the field.
Other Requirements
Valid driver's license required. Must be able to safely use ladders, work outdoors, enter customer homes/businesses, follow company safety procedures, complete required job photos/QA, and properly maintain assigned equipment. Company vehicle/equipment provided to approved W-2 field technicians.
Job Description
Vision Pro is hiring Cable / Fiber Installation Technicians for our Bronx operation.
We are looking for dependable technicians who want consistent field work and an opportunity to grow with an established cable contracting company.
Technicians will perform residential cable, internet, coax and fiber installation/service work. Responsibilities include installing and troubleshooting services, running and replacing drops, working at taps and customer premises, completing fiber/coax work, following safety procedures, and completing all required QA/job documentation and photographs.
Experienced technicians are strongly encouraged to apply. Experience with cable installation, coax, fiber, telecommunications, drops, taps, troubleshooting, ladders, meters, or related field work is a major plus.
We will also consider motivated candidates who are newer to the industry and willing to learn. Training and field support are available for qualified candidates.
