Milenium Inc. is actively seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead and oversee Outside Plant (OSP) construction operations in the Anderson, South Carolina market.
This is a full-time, field-based leadership role responsible for managing crews, schedules, production, quality, safety, and client coordination across complex telecommunications and utility infrastructure projects.
This position is ideal for a hands-on leader who understands the realities of field construction, holds teams accountable, drives schedules forward, solves problems in the field, and ensures every project is completed safely, on time, and to specification.

Position Overview: What You’ll Do
As a Construction Manager, you will oversee all aspects of field construction operations throughout the Anderson, SC market, acting as the primary point of leadership between crews, subcontractors, project managers, municipalities, utility owners, and clients.
You will be accountable for production, quality, safety, scheduling, and communication across multiple active job sites.
Your responsibility is simple: make sure the work gets done correctly, safely, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily construction operations across multiple active OSP job sites, including HDD, trenching, aerial, underground fiber, and restoration.
Lead, mentor, manage, and hold accountable field supervisors, foremen, subcontractors, and construction crews.
Develop and execute project schedules while ensuring daily and weekly production goals are achieved.
Ensure construction complies with approved engineering plans, permits, NESC requirements, OSHA standards, and applicable South Carolina and local regulations.
Coordinate closely with project management teams regarding scope, manpower, materials, equipment, scheduling, and production.
Conduct routine field inspections to verify workmanship, safety compliance, construction quality, and documentation.
Proactively identify and resolve field issues, conflicts, delays, utility conflicts, and other risks before they impact project schedules or budgets.
Coordinate with municipalities, inspectors, utility owners, locating companies, permitting agencies, and clients as required.
Review daily reports, production tracking, job progress, and cost information and provide accurate updates to company leadership.
Enforce Milenium’s “Nobody Gets Hurt” safety culture across all employees, crews, and subcontractors.
Support damage-prevention efforts, utility coordination, locate compliance, and incident resolution.
Oversee restoration, punch-list completion, documentation, and project closeout to ensure client and municipal acceptance.
Maintain strong communication between field operations and project leadership.
Required Experience & Skills
5+ years of experience in OSP, telecommunications, fiber, or utility construction.
3+ years of supervisory or management experience as a Construction Manager, Superintendent, General Foreman, or similar field leadership position.
Strong working knowledge of underground and aerial fiber construction.
Strong understanding of directional drilling, trenching, conduit installation, and restoration operations.
Experience with utility coordination, locating, and damage prevention.
Understanding of NESC, OSHA, and applicable construction regulations.
Proven ability to manage multiple crews and active construction projects simultaneously.
Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, prints, permits, maps, and project schedules.
Comfortable working with Microsoft Office and construction/project tracking software.
Highly organized, self-motivated, accountable, and decisive in fast-moving field environments.
Additional Requirements
High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Valid, unencumbered Driver’s License.
Must live within or be willing to relocate to the Anderson, South Carolina area.
Ability to travel daily throughout Anderson and surrounding project areas.
Comfortable spending significant time outdoors and on active construction sites.
Ability to work in changing field conditions and respond quickly when project needs arise.
