Pay
Production-based pay. Weekly earning potential: $2,000-$3,500+, depending on production, experience, performance, and available assignments.
Qualifications
Previous FTTH or fiber installation experience preferred. Experience with Quantum Fiber, Lumen, Brightspeed, Metronet, Frontier, Verizon Fios, AT&T Fiber, Ziply Fiber, Comcast, T-Mobile Fiber, or similar providers is a plus. Strong troubleshooting, customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills. Washington Telecommunications Administrator Certificate preferred, but not required. English/Spanish bilingual preferred.
Other Requirements
Valid driver's license and legal authorization to work in the U.S. Must have a suitable field vehicle (cargo van, transit van, pickup with cap, or SUV), ladders, required installation tools, smartphone, and PPE. Must be available full-time in the Seattle service area and able to complete background check, MVR, and drug screening when required by the project. Functional English required for customer and operations communication.
Job Description
Zynexel is seeking professional FTTH Fiber Installation Technicians to support residential fiber deployments in the Seattle, Washington area.
Primary Responsibilities
* Perform residential FTTH installations and repairs
* Install and activate ONTs/SmartNIDs, gateways, routers, and Wi-Fi equipment
* Install, route, secure, and maintain residential fiber drops
* Troubleshoot fiber connectivity, network, Wi-Fi, and activation issues
* Test and verify service performance before completing each work order
* Complete required documentation and job-site photographs
* Maintain clean and professional installations
* Communicate with customers throughout the installation or repair process
* Protect customer property and maintain a clean work area
* Follow project procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements
* Manage assigned work orders efficiently throughout the day
* Maintain professional communication with dispatch and operations
