Fiber Drop Bury Contractor – 1099
We are seeking experienced 1099 contractors to perform residential fiber drop placement. Responsibilities include burying fiber drops from the utility connection point to the customer’s home, completing basic restoration, and submitting accurate job documentation.
Responsibilities:
Safely place and bury fiber drops according to project specifications
Identify existing utilities and follow locate markings
Complete hand digging, trenching, boring, and driveway/sidewalk crossings as required
Restore lawns, landscaping, and work areas
Photograph completed work and submit required documentation
Maintain professional communication with customers and project supervisors
Requirements:
Previous fiber drop-bury or underground utility experience preferred
Reliable vehicle, tools, and equipment
Valid driver’s license and insurance
Ability to work independently and meet production and quality standards
Must provide a completed W-9 and meet 1099 contractor requirements
Compensation is production-based and paid per completed drop. Consistent work is available for dependable contractors who produce high-quality installations.
