Job Description
EthernetSmart is hiring a Cable Installation Technician (1099 Contractor) for Brooklyn, Queens, and surrounding NYC areas. We're a Spectrum installation subcontractor with steady, year-round job volume, weekly pay, and no corporate
red tape. If you're skilled with your hands and take pride in doing the job right, we want to hear from you.
Duties:
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair residential cable, fiber, and internet service
- Set up modems, routers, and customer equipment
- Work confidently and safely from ladders — including exterior pole/aerial and elevated installs; this is a regular
part of the job, not occasional
- Use standard hand/power tools and cable testers to complete and verify installs
- Manage your own route and schedule across the Brooklyn-Queens market area
- Deliver clear, professional customer service after every install
