Qualifications
Experience with horizontal directional drilling for underground utility installation, own directional drilling rig (JT20 or similar) and required support equipment, experienced 4–6 person crew, commitment to quality workmanship and safety, valid driver's license with a clean driving record, ability to pass a background check and drug screening if required by the project.
Other Requirements
4–6 person crew required, available to start immediately or in the near future, willing to work as a 1099 Independent Contractor, must comply with company safety standards and Digital Safety Audit requirements, safety-focused with a professional work ethic, no shortcuts or unsafe work practices.
Job Description
Seralex Communications is seeking experienced Directional Drill Crews (4–6 technicians per crew) for 1099 project-based work in South Carolina and Ohio.
Responsibilities:
- Perform horizontal directional drilling for underground utility installation projects
- Operate directional drilling equipment and related support equipment
- Follow utility locate marks and safe drilling practices
- Maintain a safe, productive, and professional job site
- Comply with company safety standards and Digital Safety Audit requirements
- Deliver quality work while meeting project schedules
Requirements:
- Experience with horizontal directional drilling (HDD)
- Own directional drilling rig (JT20 or similar) and required support equipment
- Experienced 4–6 person crew
- Knowledge of utility locate requirements and safe drilling practices
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening (if applicable)
- Must comply with Digital Safety Audit requirements
