BORE CREWS & PLOW CREW NEEDED – Georgia
Looking for several experienced bore crews and one experienced plow crew for an upcoming telecom project in the Athens, Georgia area.
Scope of Work:
• Approximately 30 miles of plowing
• Approximately 20 miles of directional boring
• Placing four (4) 1.5-inch ducts
• 48 inches of cover
Plow Crew: Approximately 30 miles installing four 1½” conduits at a minimum of 48” cover. Must have a tracked machine with vibratory plow larger than a Vermeer 1250 and capable of maintaining required depth. Vermeer 1250 plow with quad tracks preferred. Must have a winch tractor/support tractor available with the plow operation.
Bore Crews: Approximately 20 miles of wide-open boring, pulling back four 1½” conduits. Minimum 24x40 Vermeer-size rig or equivalent. Some rock is expected, so equipment must be rock capable. Looking for several experienced bore crews with appropriately sized rigs, preferably in the Vermeer 24x40 class or similar.
LARGE ROCK BORE: One approximately 600’ bore under a small creek in solid rock. Will likely require a larger rig with wireline capability, pulling back four 1½” conduits.
