Must have a reliable truck, SUV, or work-capable vehicle; Must own a laptop and smartphone; An iPad is strongly preferred for viewing construction prints in the field; Must be comfortable traveling for extended assignments; Must be available to work Saturdays

Job Description

No previous GPR experience is required. We will train and certify the right candidate.

What You’ll Be Doing
• Operating GPR equipment to identify underground utilities and anomalies
• Taking and organizing GPR scan photos
• Dropping GPS pins for scan locations
• Reviewing construction prints and project maps
• Completing field reports using Excel, a laptop, and a smartphone
• Applying marking paint and documenting completed work
• Working outdoors and walking project areas for extended periods

Schedule and Travel
• Must be available to travel anywhere in the continental United States
• Typical travel rotation is approximately 30 days on and 30 days off
• At least one week of notice will normally be provided before travel
• Saturdays are required
• Travel time to the jobsite is paid
• Return travel from the jobsite is not paid
• No minimum number of hours is guaranteed, but we currently have a very heavy workload and consistent project demand

Travel Compensation
For out-of-state travel projects and emergency assignments, the company will provide either:
• A daily per diem, or
• Payment of approved travel expenses, including airfare, hotel, rental vehicle, and fuel

For Florida projects:
• Mileage is reimbursed
• Marking paint is paid for

Candidate Requirements
• Must have a reliable truck, SUV, or work-capable vehicle
• Must own a laptop and smartphone
• An iPad is strongly preferred for viewing construction prints in the field
• Must be proficient with phones, computers, email, GPS applications, and Microsoft Excel
• Must be able to drop location pins and accurately match photos to scan locations
• Must be dependable, punctual, organized, and able to work independently
• Must be comfortable traveling for extended assignments
• Must be able to work outdoors in Florida weather and changing field conditions
• Must be available to work Saturdays
