Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced HDD Locator to support our underground fiber construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
Locate drill head and maintain accurate bore path using HDD locating equipment
Read bore plans, utility marks, and jobsite layouts
Work closely with the driller to complete safe and accurate bores
Help plan bore shots and identify potential conflicts
Monitor depth, pitch, and alignment during drilling operations
Assist with conduit and duct installation for underground fiber systems
Follow utility locates and safe drilling practices
Maintain daily bore logs and production reports
Support jobsite safety and equipment care
Requirements
Experience as an HDD Locator
Experience with HDD locating systems
Telecom fiber construction experience preferred
Ability to read bore plans and utility locates
Knowledge of underground utility installation methods
Ability to work outdoors and travel for projects
Valid driver’s license required
CDL is a plus
