Job Description

High Split Technician – Pearl Connections, Upstate New York

Pearl Connections is expanding its network upgrade operations in Upstate New York. We are hiring experienced High Split Technicians to support residential and commercial HFC network upgrades, including amplifier swaps, node segmentation, and system optimization. This is long-term, high-volume production with W2 employment, not a short-term contract.

The Opportunity
If you have experience working in telecom and HFC network upgrades, we want to talk. You’ll be performing high split upgrades, maintaining RF performance, and supporting ongoing infrastructure improvements across multiple markets. Work is steady, routes are consistent, and projects are ongoing across multiple markets.

What You'll Do

• Perform high split upgrades including amplifier swaps, splitter replacements, and filter changes
• Execute node segmentation work within the cable plant
• Perform coax and fiber-related tasks across the network
• Maintain signal quality and system performance during all upgrades
• Troubleshoot RF and signal issues in the field
• Complete work orders efficiently and meet daily production targets
• Follow all safety procedures and company standards

What We're Looking For
Experienced techs (priority):

• Experience in telecom, cable upgrades, or construction environments
• Strong knowledge of HFC plant, high split upgrades, and RF signal testing
• Familiarity with amplifiers, passives, and node segmentation
• Experience working with both fiber and coax systems

All candidates must have:
Own truck, van, or SUV. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Authorization to work in the U.S. Ability to climb ladders up to 25 ft, lift up to 75 lbs, and work in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor conditions year-round.

Compensation
Competitive weekly pay based on production. W2 employment — full benefits of being on payroll. Steady, high-volume dispatch — no gaps, no slow weeks. Long-term project stability across multiple states. Monday–Saturday schedule.
Weekly pay (after 3-week initial processing period)
