* Ribbon and single splicing * Long haul testing and troubleshooting *Bi-directional testing *OLTS/ power meter testing * Fiber Characterization and documentation * Fiber restoration and maintenance support * Reading and interpreting splice matrices and network schematics * Daily reporting and closeout documentation

* Proven experience with long haul fiber optic splicing and testing * Experience with ribbon fiber/ including high count fiber cables * Ability to perform and troubleshoot OTDR testing independently * Familiarity with EXFO platforms * OSHA 10 minimum preferred (OSHA 30 strongly preferred * Valid driver's license and reliable transportation * Ability to travel throughout Alabama as required * Must provide own standard splicing and testing equipment * Must maintain safe work practices

* Experience with long haul transport networks
* Experience with 200um fiber
* Experience with fiber with ribbon mass fusion splicing
* Existing crew structure capable of supporting production schedules
