Candidates should have a strong OSP background with COAX splicing knowledge, Aerial and Underground construction experience, HFC experience, CATV knowledge, Viavi Onx knowledge and experience.

The position covers the greater Charlotte NC Area. The Project Manager will oversee the High Split night installation of the COAX.

Job Description

GTS is seeking a Project Manager for our High Split COAX splicing project covering the greater Charlotte/Greensboro area. The ideal candidate must be Dependable, Experienced, Knowledgeable and able to successfully manage fast-paced, high-split coax splicing project. Duties will include review and oversite of nightly manpower requirements, morning customer updates, daily production reporting and weekly billing preparation.

Requirements:

· Minimum 5 years Proven Experience as a Team Leader· Solid Technical Background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in high-split construction projects.

· Solid Organizational Skills, including attention to details and multi-tasking

· Great Customer Relation and Interpersonal Skills

· Excellent Written and Verbal Communication skills

· Dynamic Problem Solver for multiple crews and able to anticipate potential problems and create solutions to avert potential pitfalls.

· Efficient Leader, able to inspire and motivate staff to work together towards project-oriented goals

Specific Knowledge and or experience:

· Bi-Directional Sweep Specifications and Certifications

· Ingress/Egress Mitigation

· Optical Node Bi-Directional Optimizations and Setups

· DOCSIS Performance Tools

· All Aspects of Line Maintenance

· ISP Optical Transmitters and Receivers

· ISP Combining and Distribution Networks

· Fiber Installation, Splicing and Performance Testing

· Coaxial Installation, Splicing and Performance Testing

· SDA-5000/DSAM-6300/Viavi Digital Measurement and Testing Operation

· TDR/FDR Operation

· Read OSP Design and Asbuild Maps

Strong Working Knowledge of:

· Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook

· Microsoft Windows 10

· Stealthware/Stratasync

· Dropbox
