Must be an experienced burry crew. Ability to bury 12 inches deep, along with good communication skills. Crew must have a truck or van with a ladder rack if using their own vehicle. Company vehicles available with a clean driving record. Fusion Splicer required (also available for rent)
Job Description
Drop Bury Crew – Residential Fiber Projects (Pay Per Foot)
We are actively seeking experienced Drop Bury Crews for residential fiber installation projects. This is hands-on, production-based work with pay per footage, offering strong earning potential for efficient, quality crews.
Job Overview
Crews will be responsible for completing fiber drop installations from the enclosure to customer homes while following all safety and quality standards. This role requires close coordination with dispatch and project teams to meet daily production and service targets.
Technicians must maintain a professional presence on customer property and ensure all work is completed with minimal disruption.
Scope of Work:
Carefully remove customer yard elements (grass, rocks, landscaping)
Trench/plow and install micro conduit and fiber drops (12” depth)
Pull fiber through existing or newly installed conduit
Splicing at the enclosure and NIT
Restore customer property to original condition
Requirements:
-Proven experience in fiber drop bury / underground telecom work
-Ability to operate trenching/plowing equipment
-Knowledge of basic fiber handling and splicing
-Strong attention to detail and workmanship
-Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
-Reliable transportation and tools (preferred)
Comfortable using mobile apps for:
-Job assignments
-Reporting & documentation
-Photo uploads
