Other Requirements
Experience placing fiber and coax cables, aerial or underground. Ability to read prints, work permits, maps. Valid driver's license. CLD and bilingual a plus.

NOW HIRING – FIBER OPTIC CREWS (AUSTIN, TX AREA)
Wiring Connection Inc
Wiring Connection Inc is seeking experienced fiber optic workers for underground and aerial plant construction in the Austin, Texas area.
We are hiring both in-house crew members and subcontractors.
Prime contractor working for Spectrum and other clients.
Open Positions:
Directional Drill Operators & Locators
Underground Crew Members
Aerial Linemen
Fiber Splicers
General Laborers (Underground & Aerial)
Job Responsibilities:
Directional Drill Operators/Locators:
Operate drilling equipment to install underground telecommunications infrastructure.
Underground Crew:
Bore and missile work.
Intercept conduits
Install fiber/coax cables
Set pedestals and vaults
Aerial Crew:
Place, rehang, over lash, fiber optic and coaxial cables.
Install strand, anchors, and down guys
Perform pole transfers.
Use of a bucket truck and reel trailers.
Fiber Splicers:
Experience splicing loose fiber, OTDR, troubleshooting, installing, upgrading mux, filters. Ribbon experience a plus.
All equipment provided
